UEX was first opened for business in 1986.  A group of industry professionals initially structured the company to narrowly focus on the highly demanding film and garment market segments.  Customer demand soon served as the catalyst in stimulating expansion to other areas of concentration. 

Additionally, UEX  is heavily involved in a wide ranging variety of logistics related support services.  These include container station operations, inventory carry/distribution, fulfillment, consulting and controlled trucking networks.

Over the years, UEX has subscribed to one simple premise:  “Take care of the customer and you will not only survive, you will prosper”.  That simple premise is ingrained in the corporate culture and results in performance that is simultaneously responsive from an organizational and logistical perspective.

To address ever changing market circumstances and keep pace with customer requirements, UEX uses a series of internal administrative processes.  Continuous improvement initiatives, first-pass criterion/measurement and other Quality oriented procedures are rigidly adhered to and are specifically designed to support customer operations.

For decades, UEX has continued and expanded the practice of keeping the customer first in terms of corporate focus – that practice will not change!
